Come with me on a time travel through the Jewish Vienna, which was formative for the development of the city.
On this tour you learn about the history of those people who gave an essential contribution to the development of this city. You visit the medieval synagogue at the „Judenplatz“, the Shoa Monument and you have the opportunity to visit the Jewish museum.
By reservation in advance it is also possible to offer you a tour through the city’s temple.
You will hear about the life and death of the Jewish people in Vienna during the 19th and twentieth century by stories, commemorative plaques, monuments, buildings and places (picture: Jewish Museum and Judenplatz). One of the program items will lead us to the “Judenplatz”, the medieval center of the Jewish community, where we deal with the Holocaust monument initiated by Simon Wiesenthal.
Duration: 3 hours.
